Blocked intakes around the sides can severely impact the system’s performance, while also causing premature equipment failure. Use this guideline but note that some models may require larger setbacks to obstructions (refer to your owners/installation manual):
- Side A (to building): min. 6”
- Side B (to one side): min. 12”
